Education does not mean getting straight A’s in school.  It means:

  • Attending class
  • Avoiding absenteeism
  • Paying attention, listening to the teacher, and following instructions
  • Participating in class discussions
  • Being prepared, doing homework on time, and studying for tests
  • Asking for help or tutoring with subjects that prove difficult

The primary goal of education is to develop critical thinking skills so children can succeed in a world that is changing at an ever more rapid pace

In addition, education builds confidence in one’s learning capabilities, teaches socialization with other children, establishes discipline and responsibility, exposes kids to new thoughts and ideas, and opens up a world of learning and opportunity
